After 20 years with Regions...this killed it
My father passed away feb 2015 and I forgot to close his account. He had a$9.99 auto debit come through and it over drew the dead mans account by $7.xx. My wife happens to be the second name on my fathers account. And because if this the take $51.xx from her account which send her into an overdrawn status. After an absorbenant amount of fees I paid almost $250 in order to bring the account to $0 and closed the account. So I guess the lesson learned here. If your Regions you can do what ever you want and there's nothing anybody can do about it. If you are anybody else, make sure you keep an extra $250 in your account in case you father dies. Awesome Regions...Awesome!
