I'm a credit union person for over 20 years and when my father passed away I had to start dealing with M&T. The first time I tried to get money for my grandmother they were going to charge me for the check I had to fill out because I have to write myself (POA) a check, sign it, and then endorse it !!! One time I had a $7.00 check to cash with the check to myself and because I didn't have an account besides being POA and my father's estate they wouldn't cash it. I think M&T has some pretty stupid policies.
