"Too Old"
We have a loan with this bank and our truck title as collateral. I tried getting a modification because I need to title to our truck, because it is broke down. Our request for a modification was denied. I had a cosigner lined up (because one rep told me our loan would be modified with a cosigner). When I got the cosigner's information, a rep asked me how old I was. I told her 40, and she said I "was too old to use a consigner." I had just turned 40, and felt bad anyways, then to be told that was just the icing on the cake. Now, I am trying to get the title, so I can scrap the truck and offer then a new title. I cannot get anyone to call me back. I am going to withdraw my money and go to a bank that does not age discriminate.
